HDR video content is continuing to gain market relevance for both streaming and broadcasting services, providing improved contrast and color depth. However, the predominance of 8-bit based codecs and the wide availability of Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) devices still poses challenges regarding effective deployment of HDR content.
