Le Bourget, France, June 19, 2015 – V-Nova Ltd., a leading provider of signal compression solutions demonstrated the applicability of its ground-breaking PERSEUS signal compression technology (e.g., image, video, telemetry) in the Airbus Group Pavilion at the Paris Air Show 2015, as part of the Group’s “Airbus Group Experience” 3D virtual reality demonstrator. The Paris Air Show is world’s oldest aviation trade show with transactions typically exceeding USD 150 billion. Powered by PERSEUS, the Airbus Group Experience is on display to VIPs, heads of state, senior international executives, politicians, financiers and the press.
PERSEUS is a paradigm shift in signal processing, offering significant simultaneous improvements in signal compression, processing speed and signal quality. For example, in emerging video applications, which typically drive over 80% of communications network traffic, PERSEUS effectively shifts the entire bitrate-quality curve, enabling UHD video at HD bitrates, HD at SD bitrates, and SD video at sub-audio bitrates.
